Alex did really well today at our church gathering. Everyone thought he was super cute. What made him even cuter was the outfit his nana got him. :-) happy 4th everyone!!

Sorry it has been a while. We've been pretty busy and I've had a harder time finding pictures of Alex to take, also my potting phone memory is getting low. :-) here are a few that I have taken.

Alex is getting more active everyday. He bats at Shaun the sheep when he is on the changing table. Gets upset if I put him in his crib and don't turn on the mobile. It is pretty cute what he is able to do now. I've attached three pictures. One of his little baby cowlick before his hair really grows in. A picture of him napping with his arms up in the air, like a puppy. :-) and lastly a picture of him looking at his reflection in a baby mirror we have in the downstairs crib.

Hope everyone is well, things are mostly well here. Still missing my ice cream and other dairy...but what can you do? :-)

And lastly a picture of Alex today when we were heading out to Nana's house (note the cute bunny feet). Alex its becoming more active everyday. He enjoys his mobiles now and attempts to talk to us on occasion.

Today Alex had his two month check up. He is now 9 lbs 7 oz, which if up from 7 lbs 9 oz on may 7th. His head is 39 cm, up from 36.5 cm, and his height is 22.5 inches, he was 21.5 inches.

He also got 5 shots today and it was awful! Poor kid. At least it is over with. I captured a picture of him before his shots, he was upset that he hadn't really napped yet. Again poor kid.

Alex is two months old today!:-) only ten more and he'll be a year. :-)

Today I've attached three pictures. He's been really crabby the last few days so I haven't gotten many pictures of him. Not sure what the deal is now, but we are working through it. There's also a pic of all of us at the park near the house, where we took a walk to last week.

Today I'm sending out three pictures. One of Alex on the couch saying "but dad!?!", and two others we took yesterday while visiting with Mike's family.

One of Alex vegging out in front of the TV, one of him looking bored with his rattle, one of him actually filling out an outfit (it may have shrank in the wash, but I'm admitting nothing), and one from our walk yesterday where he graduated to facing out.

He has been doing a bit better this week. Not crying a much during the day. Actually having time where he is awake and active and happy, which makes me glad. This may be due to the elimination of milk products from my diet, but the verdict is still out on that. The 6 days if data I've collected is still inconclusive. He still doesn't really want to take naps but when he is down, he tends to be down for a while.

Currently the Bakers are evaluating what is making Alex tic. He has been very grouchy the past two weeks and we aren't sure if it is something I'm eating that doesn't agree with him, or if he is just a fussy baby. Today he seems ok, only really crying after being up for 5 hours and needing a nap.

Alex and I survived our first week together. He had some sleeping issues, but we're figuring them out. We had a nice visit with Aunt Jamie and Nana (no pics sorry) and with Dad and Jodi. Alex has been more interactive this week, when he isn't crying. :-) enjoy the pictures.
