Is it hot enough for you?

Eliza did a self portrate of herself with sidewalk chalk. She's even doing the straight faced expression she drew.

I brought up stuff from the basement to give to my friend Emily and the kids had to play with everything. This house still is so much fun, thanks again Aunt Jamie!

My little biking girl

Alex doing some water measurements for me in the garden so I know how much to water.

The garden is up and going. We've actually started harvesting, but you'll see that later in the blog.

Flower garden has been having some issues with rodents getting in and eating my flowers. I loss all of my sun flowers.

We visited Emily and got to meet Lila. Alex wanted to hold her so badly. He had been practicing with his cat. He did well and even got to feed her.

Lila wasn't interested in a group picture.

The girls. :)

On the way back from Antie Em's we stopped by Oma's house to pick up a kitten to take to Shawn's house.

The kids were super excited to see a kitten.

We borrowed a power washer from Oma and Opa. We made good use of it the cool weekend a few weeks back and got the siding cleaned.... and...

the deck that needed to so badly.

Then we put two layers of stain on it.

And now it looks like an extension of our kitchen. It's no longer slippery when you go out when it's wet. It's lights up my kitchen when it's sunny because it's so reflective. I've thought that a light was on in the kitchen a few times.

The Chicken game made an appearance this month.

Good Morning! We all still fit, but soon it will be Eliza's bed. Mike and I have decided to upgrade to a King sized bed. :)

Our first trip to a playground. We went to a new one in Commerce that was really cool. Had lots of spinning things and a zipline.

My little cuties!

Alex's yearly check up went well. He is healthy and growing like a weed.

Mike and I got to go mattress shopping and had dinner out for the first time since.... last fall. Best food I've ever had after making all the meals for 4 months.

I tried my hand at making bagels. My family has requested I make them weekly.

We went to Nana's house to deliver her computer to her. While daddy helped her hook things up the kids played with the bubble machine.

Played tick tac toe in the car

And Eliza played with her animals.

Alex doing an amazing jump!

We found some swallow tail caterpillars on my dill this month.

So we decided to bring some inside to watch the whole process of them changing.

Dad and Jodi came for a visit this month. They got to play pretty pretty princes with Alex and I. Always nice catching up.

Where's Waldo?

Eliza was making everyone diner food one day. She is so cute in this outfit.

What do you think of me with facial hair?

Evan showing off his wild strawberry haul from the garden one morning.

Eliza came to visit me in the flower garden. This picture shows you how small of an area I need to fit through to get in and out. I need to get a proper door on the garden.

Love these guys.

They are the best!

Checking on the caterpillars. Evan reminds me every night to put a box on top of the cage so they don't get out.

I bought a chemistry set that was on super sale a few months ago. We are making good use of it now.

Evan the bird whisperer. There was a bird that just wanted to hang on to the shepherd hook, but couldn't.

Eliza and me taking a break at the park.

The kids have these suction cup things (squigs) that they love to play with in the bath. They build all kinds of things. These each have their frogs in them. They are in their "fort".

First carrots out of the garden. Nevermind the nutella on Evan's face.

I was clipping some basil and I found some white caterpillars on the basil. So we had to take one in and see how it changes.

Eliza showing me her moves.

First family dinner out to Red Robin. While they did a really great job I think. I was way too stressed with the whole experience to go back any time soon. The kids move around too much.

Everyone was cold in the restaurant, thankfully for them I brought my hoody.

More carrots and green beans from the garden.

They have really been enjoying going to the park. We are the only ones at this one which is nice. Evan was also trying out his new sun hat.

We visited the Wade's this month and picked some black raspberries. They have so many in their wood line.

Shawn has a man that manages bee hives on her property and he dropped her off some honey while we were there. They were too pretty not to take a picture.

Evan and his mini ice cream.

I tried my hand a baguettes this month. Not bad, might try them again.

The kids have been building forts a LOT in their room out of anything.

They have been pretty creative.

Alex has his on the top bunk bed.

Carrot, beet, and garlic harvest.

They taste good!

Everything is out and we found some sugar snap peas and a cucumber as well.

The box fort was taken apart this month. The kids quickly replaced it with a large train track.

Visiting with Dad and Jodi.

Always made even better by a dance party!

Morning kindle time.

Eliza is back to swim class. There were lots of changes. Plastic partitions between swimmers, smaller classes, everyone wearing face shields or masks, contact less high fives, people wiping down surfaces all the time, hardly any seating for parents... Eliza still had a great time.

Last night after the rain we got the kids went out and played with their backpack water guns. They had a great time. Evan got the backpack with the ice water. :D

Get him Eliza!!!

Keeping Busy is our middle name

We joined some friends for bowling, turns out the boys really enjoy it. Evan is already perfecting his form. Eliza tries really hard to get ...
