Let the birthdays begin

The boys making their Valentine decorations at preschool. These are bird feeders.

Here they are decorating their Valentine's Day bags. This is Alex's last preschool Vday party, and Evan's first. Both had a really good time.

I tried making colored ice cubes for the boys to play with on a rainy day... turns out if you add all the colors at once they just make brown water. Ah... live and learn. :)

Eliza strikes again. Need to keep those toilet lids down.

I was under the weather for a day or two, but thankfully I had lots of company while in bed.

An always enjoyable Oma visit. This one was unexpected which made it that much more special.

We enjoyed a visit with the Bessen family this month. So good to see all of them and see how HUGE their kids have gotten!!

Eliza in the classic window picture.

Eliza saying "Hi guys, I'm ready to go!"

We visited with the Carter family this month. We had a wonderful time there, and the boys got some new stuffed critters. Evan got a fox and Alex got a bear. Both have been required for bed and naps since then.

The boys got to play on their huge trampoline and had a blast! Now we need one I guess... but perhaps we'll just visit more often. :)

Evan amazed at Davey's video game.

Evan was so tired this night that he fell asleep with his water on his chest, the fact that it stayed there was what impressed me. This kid is a kung fu sleeper.

Eliza and her beautiful smile.

The boys working on their workbooks while I cut up melon. Win Win!

Eliza jumped too hard and had to pass out for a bit. :)

The boys enjoying the Lego house their daddy made for them.

Eliza was doing laps with the boys one day in the driveway. Her with her walker and the boys on their bikes. They were doing laps with her, it was pretty cute.

Alex tends to have crazy hair after he comes in from playing outside. :)

Evan is still really enjoying swim class. Alex has been trying harder lately and I think improving. The boys have been cute lately by saying "friends" while reaching out to take each others hands to walk. :)

Our first snow this year that was wet enough to make a snowman!

And have a snowball fight. Something about nailing your kid in the back with a snowball.. :)

Evan smashing snow in Eliza's face through the window.

Alex at the dentist. He asked to hold my hand, but about a quarter of the way through he said he was ok. He did really great.

Eliza is getting all 4 of her top teeth in at once... poor kid. No wonder she has been so fussy.

The boys eating their snacks at church. They get their snacks during the sermon to keep them quiet... it mostly works.

A beautiful picture of Evan that Mike took one day.

Eliza likes to get up on the trampoline and bounce around in circles giggling. It's super cute.

I love these kids.

Crazy hair day at preschool. Mommy had 20 year old mousse that still worked! :)

Eliza can drink out of a cup all by herself now.

Evan refused to wear these one day, but at least I got a picture before he forced me to take them off.

The boys playing on their vehicle carpet... first time it's been clean enough to drive on in a long time.

Evan enjoying his lemon cake on his birthday.

The boys helping me add different ingredients to the cake mix for Eliza's cake.

More school work. Making letters and comparing sizes of things on the page.

Evan got Hungry Hungry Hippos (H3) for his birthday and he LOVES the game!

Eliza all ready for her party

Emily and Oma chatting it up

More H3 with Uncle Dave

More H3 with Davey

Everyone enjoying each other

Eating time

Eliza was very interested in the balloons on her chair.

Eliza did not care for her cake really. She cried the whole time it was on her tray. She only ate some when I would feed it to her.

The boys built a 'car' in their room. Evan was reading a book while in his 'car'. Mike and I were trying to figure out if they were in the front driving or in the back of the car just riding.

Have a good month! See you next time!

Keeping Busy is our middle name

We joined some friends for bowling, turns out the boys really enjoy it. Evan is already perfecting his form. Eliza tries really hard to get ...
