One, here and gone.

This is Alex playing with his friend Amelia from MOPS.  They are one month apart and love to play together.

Here are pictures before the birthday party kicked off.

Alex playing with Daddy after church

When we got home after Everett's dedication there was a horse across the street.  Mike decided to walk Alex over to it and see what Alex thought.  As we were standing there our neighbor invited us over to her friends petting zoo 30th birthday party.

So Alex got to see a baby pot bellied pig, baby chicks, baby cow, baby ducks, bunny rabbits, goats and even a llama.  He wasn't sure what to think of any of it, but I think deep down he enjoyed it.

There are Alex's new wrap around shades for the summer.  He didn't like them at first, but once I got him to leave them alone he didn't seem to mind them as much.

Alex taking an important call from the President. :)

Alex was enjoying watching a squirrel eating bird seed off the deck.

Alex was playing with a ball from one of his toys.  And as I was watching he was sucking in air and I think trying to suck the ball into his mouth. :)

Alex went to his one year check up and he is doing well.  Weighting in at 19 lb 6 oz, which makes him on the weight charts!! He is riding the 7th percentile line now!!  Height, he was 30 inches, which means he is average in that area with 56th percentile.  In head size, he was 47.5 cm, which means he has a big head for his size... 79th percentile. We might start calling him Big Brained Joe.

Alex endured getting three shots that day.  Chicken poxs, Pneumococcal Conjugate, and Hep A. He was less than pleased, but he did well.

Baby included!! We went shopping for a new car seat for Alex this weekend.  He got to try them out and see if he liked them.

I guess we made a good choice because he has no issue passing out in it. :)

Alex at Easter dinner.

Alex enjoying his first time crawling threw the grass at his Aunt Jamie's.  I think he liked it.

Where has the time gone?

Alex turns one year old tomorrow and we are so looking forward to celebrating such a great event.  In the mean time I'll catch you up on the last few weeks of what this little guy has been up to.

Alex really enjoys going into our closet and throwing stuff into our hampers.  He also enjoys closing the door and playing with hangers.  I think it is only a matter of time before he starts pulling down our shirts. :)

Alex and Daddy reading one morning.  Alex really enjoys turning pages, really I think he likes that more than listening to us read.

All worn out.

We went to Lowes and while we were there we decided to see how much windows would cost. (Two thirds of our windows on the front of the house have a broken seal and you can't see through them in the summer.  Also, some are really hard to open)  I liked this picture because Alex looks like "Where you going?" and the pointy hat helps. :)

Alex and Link investigating something that is happening outside.

"Yum! Paper!"

This picture should have been rotated, but it is of Alex going up the stairs.  He really enjoys going up them and he's pretty good at it. He does need to work on going down them though.  I try to help him but he just gets mad I'm touching him and crawls off.

Still enjoys his floor gyms.

Alex enjoying his first time in a swing.  He seemed unsure, but I think with some time he'll really start to enjoy it.

Too cool for school

Such a cute outfit a friend of ours gave us, and just in time for baseball season.  I love the footies. :)

Mike dressed Alex in this wonderful striped outfit.  I'm sure I have many more wonderful outfits like this in the future. :)

Heading out for our first bike ride of the season and thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Manny, Alex now has a great bike seat! He seemed to enjoy seeing everything going by, but I think his helmet might be a bit too big for him.

I love these guys!

Keeping Busy is our middle name

We joined some friends for bowling, turns out the boys really enjoy it. Evan is already perfecting his form. Eliza tries really hard to get ...
