He is 18 days old and doing just fine. He's got a GREAT set of lungs and knows how to use them. :-) today he weighs 7 lbs 4 oz and is averaging just under an once of weight gain a day, which means he's a good eater too. :-) enjoy the pictures!

Hello all! Today was a pretty busy day for us as we had a doctor's appointment for Amber to go to, and then we decided to stop and visit her old neighbor in Royal Oak since we were in town. As such we don't have a ton of pics from today, but here is a cute one of Alex and his mommy enjoying a little break. Certain situations really illustrate how small he is, and this was one of them for me.

Alex enjoyed his first sponge bath today. He did pretty well...other than when we were almost done he decided to pee all over and we had to start all over again. He did enjoy getting his hair washed, which is good. Hope everyone is well.

Baby Baker #1 has arrived!!

Please welcome Alexander Peter Baker, born today April 12 at 6:56 pm! He was born 6 pounds 15 ounces and 21 inches long.


Water broke at 6:50 pm yesterday. After laboring for HOURS,  the decision was made to proceed with a C section.
Both mom and baby are healthy and doing great! :-) Please keep us in your prayers.
