It's beginning to look a lot like summer

I apologize in advance for the length of this blog, but I still hope you enjoy it.

Alex's last day of preschool for the year. Next year he will be going for two mornings a week and Evan will be joining him for one.

Evan's cat strikes again. I told Mike this month that I think the cat is slowly trying to suffocate Evan. Just yesterday I saw the cat go after doggy. :)

I went to a party to say goodbye to one of my MOPS moms that is moving to Italy for 3 years, and they had these cute mustaches. :)

Battle of the tongues. Which reminds me, she started doing raspberries just last week. Now all her shirts are soaked.

Mornings in the bathroom.

Eliza sporting the dress he got from our friend Rasida. Mike is one proud daddy at church.

Eliza has upgraded from the guest bath sink to her very own tub.  She loves baths and she kicks her feet like crazy, splashing everywhere. I fill a plastic bin to try not to use as much water.

They all needed seats today while I showered. Alex is getting a bit too big for his.

While I was doing something downstairs the boys were upstairs working diligently on giving all their animals a place to sleep.  Everyone had a pillow and was covered up. They were very proud of themselves.

They Arrived!!  The Wades came back from England this month, and it was so great to have them back. The first day they were back they came to hang out with us in the morning and then came to Alex's swim class. Alex was very excited.

This is a picture of Evan yet again coping his big brother Alex. They were listening to a kids book on CD and Alex had his head in his hands, so Evan had to follow suit.

One passed out baby, check.

Mike's coworkers got together for picnic and brought their kids. He has a lot of young coworkers that are also having kids. We all have kids around the same ages.

Mom and Dave enjoying some time at the Wades household.

My 14 year old nephew Clayton is now 6'2" and is taller than anyone in his immediate family. No telling when this kid will stop growing.

We headed to my dad's house to swim one day and got a picture of my sister, dad and myself.

Group picture!

Aren't they a cute bunch? Eliza was happy up until a few seconds before I took this picture. The boys were screaming "CHEESE!!" so loud she didn't appreciate it.

Eliza sporting her new ear muffs from Grandma Jamie and Grandpa Bart.

Eliza does pretty well with her tummy time. She even gets her legs going, only a few more months and she'll be a crawling baby.

Clara with Eliza.

Evan enjoying his new train track.

Eliza and I.

I'm attempting container gardening this year. So I got a fenced in enclosure to keep the local deer, groundhogs, and bunnies away. After getting everything planted I realized that the zucchini, cucumbers and peppers need to be pollinated, so  I took the fence we got for protecting my lilac bushes and strung it across the front end so the bugs could get in... so far so good. Everything is getting bigger... might need to expand next year if all goes well this year.

We have a roll over girl on our hands. She did it for the first time while I was making dinner so I missed it, then I went upstairs to close the windows an turn on the AC, and she did it again and I missed it, then I was starting the boys bath and put her on the floor in the hall and she did it again and I missed it. :( So.... I made sure to record it the next day.

My little firecracker.

I love this guy.

And this one too. :)

Both boys got stung for the first time this month. Alex got stung on his hand and as I was putting an ice pack on his hand I heard Evan start crying. He was coming towards the house holding his eye. He got stung on his lower eye lid on his right eye. Now he doesn't want to go out to the play structure anymore. We did find the nest and destroyed it, but it will take some time for him to be ok with going out there again I think.

Not everyone can pull off a diaper on their head and still be cute, but she did it.

We visited with my old landlords.  Ron and Marianne are both doing really well and it was such a wonderful evening to share with them.

My view when I turn around in the car.

Cute baby alert!

On the 3rd of July we headed to Jodi's lake house and enjoyed some time out there. Alex spent 4 hours on the water with his cousins, and hasn't stopped asking to go back.

Group picture, this one includes Robert.

So Evan decided to start jumping down the stairs, I tried telling him not to do it... but he didn't listen. So he ended up going head over heals down the stairs and got a fat lip and a bump on his head. Poor guy. :(

A sneak peak of Eliza's Baptism day. This is the bonnet that came with the outfit that her Aunt Jamie bought for her.

My friend Sara invited us to visit Greenfield Village with her so of course we had to go. The boys had a great time, and in Wade tradition we had to get this picture on the train. What you missed in this picture is after it was done Alex stood up and ran off not remembering that Eliza needs to be supported. Thankfully I got to her when her head was about an inch from hitting the floor.

Alex, Jason, and Evan testing their strength.

The boys also got to climb into a combine, and there was a guy that decided to join them for a picture.

And take a nap in a hotdog. :)

Eliza is really starting to get a grip. I think she'll be grabbing for things soon. I call this picture "Don't Leave me!"

The boys showing off their muscles and bellies. :)

Brotherly love.

Eliza finally taking a nap at my grandparents 70th wedding anniversary.

Alex and Evan went swimming for quite a while with their cousins in the pool, but finally Evan asked with his blue lips to get out. So Mike and Oma are getting him dressed and trying to warm him up.

Grandma with the boys.

We got a family photo of everyone after everyone got organized, but there is grandma and grandpa between grandpa's 1918 Avery tractor, and his 1925 steam tractor.

The back of the vehicles.

For my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary my uncles and cousins built a windmill to attach to the tractors to give resistance so they could do the 'shower of sparks' later at night, and also give a lot of breeze to the folks watching. They also decided to pull it out for this event.

Mike and Eliza having a good time.

Grandma and Grandpa cutting the cake that my Aunt Joan made.

Alex on the playmat playing with his little sister.

Eliza looking cute in her brothers hat.

Mike took Alex to see Cars 3 with his Aunt Jamie, Uncle Dave and Davey. I think they all had a great time.

Keeping Busy is our middle name

We joined some friends for bowling, turns out the boys really enjoy it. Evan is already perfecting his form. Eliza tries really hard to get ...
