Fall weather has sprung finally

"Cheese!"

Chef Alex making some yummy meals with his diner playset.  This set is super cute with the apron and hat and all the extra things like the bell.  He finds it quite fun.

For some reason Evan always gives this face when he put on the glasses.  I just love this face though.

Reading time with Daddy.

We visited Oma's house a few weeks ago and she gave us a Lions helmet.  The boys are pretty adorable wearing it.

Evan is still figuring out which way the helmet goes.

And now everything can be a helmet, even a basket.

Evan is ready for game time.

The boys enjoying a ride on the horse at Meijer.

We visited the Saline Fair this year and the boys got to see some baby animals.

Sorted corn, which didn't last long because Evan was flinging the corn everywhere.

Play in the grand stands, which was oh so much fun.

and got to watch giant quarter horses pull 4,500lbs!!  Those horses were just amazing!!  We also rode some of the rides and had elephant ears, but those pictures were taken by our professional photographer. ;)

Evan with a super cute look.

The boys taking it easy while daddy mows the lawn.

Alex on his first day back to Preschool. He's only going one day a week in the morning, but he's really looking forward to it.

Red shirts anyone?

We went apple picking with the Wade family and Evan found a water pump that was quite entertaining.

As we headed out to get apples Evan got squished between Shawn and I.  Lucky kid.

The boys enjoying time at the library.

They just looks so cute in their little headphones.

Evan looks pretty cute as well.

Here are the three cousins that turned 3 this year.  Alex in blue, Everett in red, and Patrick in green.  They are a pretty fun crew when they get together and play.

At our Purple Potato Plucking party this year we took a hay ride and Alex and Evan had a ball.  Oma was surrounded by grand kids, you couldn't wipe that smile off her face.

Evan and I enjoying the hayride.

Evan getting some snuggles from Aunt Shawn before she ships off to England for three years.

One hot summer

Evan loves using his own utensils. I am less enthusiastic about it. Yogurt on the walls and he gets more in his chair than his mouth at times, but he's working on it... and happily at that.

Big brothers can be jerks.  Like when they slap you in the face with a bubble wand.

Washing the car with bubble wands.  Not so easy to get the soap off of afterwards, but all in good fun at the time.

This is the outdoor kitty that we've adopted.  She comes about 3 times a day for food and water and lets us pet her.  So far the relationship is working out for us both.

Visiting with Aunti Em.

Flying kites with Aunty Em was so much fun.  Alex had a blast!

Alex got to give Evan a ride in a super sweet car at our friends house.

After which they played in the sprinkler.

While the little guys had their bowls of water.  Everyone was happy.

Evan sporting his ice cream facial hair.  A look of things to come perhaps?

The boys enjoying the penguins.

We got to see some Seals at the zoo as well.

Mommy and Evan in the polar bear exhibit.

"God NO DAD!!  Stop cleaning!!! I like the dust!!"  - note the cute pj's with the drop bottom.

Shoe swap with Daddy

Cute boys hanging out outside.

Cuddles with Daddy.

Cute guy in a cute hat.

Smoothie Stach!  Yummy and cute.

Boys playing at the park. Perhaps some future careers?

I love cream filled donuts!

We went to a party with some bounce houses.  Evan and Alex had a blast!

Nearly part of an accident on the way home from church.  Thankfully everyone was ok.

Boys enjoying some time finding Waldo.

The faces of Evan.

The Faces of Evan.

Alex sporting his glasses he got a swim class.

For some reason Evan likes to sit on his dollies.  Not sure why, but he does it repeatedly.

Ice Cream!!!

Alex is ready to watch Mommy drive a Ferrari 458 on the M1 race track.

The path we had to walk up to get to the tent to drive the car.

Oma and Opa watched Evan while we were gone.  They had  a great time together.

More food facial hair for Evan.

When Alex gets upset with Evan he screams as loud as he can at him.  Evan tends to run or cower.

More volunteer reading time for the boys.

Why is it that little ones tend to eat the bottom of the cone first? I just don't get it.

June Blog with CA trip

The kids tend to pick up a few things while they are at the grocery store with me. Alex seems to be on a chili cheese binge.  Eliza and Evan...
