The boys enjoying a nice morning playing in the playroom.
"Oh please... I'm way too grown up for that"
Someone at Meijer gave Alex a fireman hat. He ran around the store as fast as he could just to have the wind blow it off so he could pick it up and do it all over again.
This is how Alex wears his sunglasses. Not sure why, but he seems to think it feels right.
Best friends already
"Num, num, daddy hair is tasty. Just let me spit up on it. Num, num"
This is how the boys spent the 3 hours on the road to the west coast of Michigan.
We made it to Holland State Park and hit the beach... for like 5 min because it was WAY too hot and the boys didn't really like having their feet in the water.
Alex and Daddy looking at the canal watching water crafts go in and out.
Alex telling people hello. He's such a friendly person.
Heading out
Daddy dusting off Alex's feet to put his shoes on.
While we were on the west coast we visited with some of my friends from college. Both of them have adorable little girls just around Alex's age. Alex had a blast playing with them. Both of the families are expecting their second baby in Sept. I can't wait to get all of our kids together in two years and see them play.
My friend Julie giving Evan some love.
Evan and I at the Holland Windmill park. Enjoying the 100% humidity and hot weather.
Alex on the merry-go-round. He choose to ride the only animal with stripes, and they happen to be the same width as his striped shirt. :)

So I started to let Evan suck on different fruit and he LOVED it. This is him sucking at my nectarine like mad. He wouldn't let me take it away from him. He also really enjoyed watermelon and cucumber.
Alex had the mall play place to himself for a few min. He really enjoyed it.
Evan checking out Alex's fire truck.
The boys and I were doing shopping and Alex had to hold Evan's hand. It was super cute.
Here is a picture of the deer family that has been gnawing all of my plants down to nubs in the back yard. Can you see the 5 deer in the picture?
Evan and Willow playing at the MOPS Mom's Breakfast. These two were born on the same day and she is already crawling. Evan isn't even sitting up yet, but we know that each kid is different.
Alex playing on his phone during our garage sale.
The boys at the Detroit Zoo.
My beautiful boy
And my other handsome boy eating his snack of nuts.
Alex by the elephant statue.
We visited with Nana and she got some Evan time. Always nice to see her.
Alex loves to stack anything, and he's good at it. Even if they are precarious.
My cute boy can't sit on his own in the chair anymore because he's able to lean up so much. Note the lavender drying behind him.
Yup, that's right. I was making my toast and this is what I came back to. Evan had destroyed one of the lavender pieces that was hanging down. It was so hard to get the bits off of him.
Our groundhog that lives in our wood pile.
Alex went to see Thomas the train this month. If you'd like to see the pictures from his adventure please click on this link. https://goo.gl/photos/ mtjibhK626U6ezuj7
The boys playing hide and go seek. Alex would pop out at different locations and scream "HI EVAN!" and Evan would startle and look around to where Alex popped out.
Alex makes friends where ever he goes. He met this nice lady at the doctor's office.
Evan deciding to go on a nice Saturday drive to the Toledo zoo.
Got to give it a good lick just to make sure it's working.
