Friends and Fun

Evan has 8 teeth now and I think he may be working on the molars with how crabby he's been lately.

Alex and I were trying to get Evan to go up the one step from the library to the foyer.  He finally did it and I've been working on him since then.  Now he can go up the stairs with no problem, but I only let him go up the 5 stairs past the landing just to be safe.  He's so excited to be so mobile.

For a while we had a gate across the play room so Evan didn't destroy or train set up or lego houses.  Evan did not enjoy this and he would rock the gate and scream at us.

One day I went to get the mail and came back to these cute guys looking out at me. :)

Alex enjoying some time in the snow.

Evan and I having some time outside.

Evan does not care of the snow.  Mind you this may have been because I put him down in the snow and he leaned forward and face planted right into it. I think he may be more interested next year.

I put Evan on the window sill of the playhouse and those boys had a ball.  There were so many giggles and laughs.  I'm very much looking forward to the summer and when Evan can walk.  These two are going to have a ball.

Alex the master stacker.

Evan looking cute in his bear suit.

Evan and Uncle Geoff at a restaurant in Royal Oak. We were there for 2+ hours, you can imagine how trilled the boys were after that long.

I thought Evan just looked so cute/funny in this picture.  This is how our shopping trips look... pretty cute if I do say so myself.

Alex woke up one day and was very sad that Mike had gone to work.  So he was crying and saying how much he missed Daddy, so we gave him a quick call at 7:30 in the morning so he could talk to him.  After we hung up the tears started again... so I gave him some sugar bread and a picture of his messy face and all was better.

Evan hanging out while his brother swims in the back ground.

This picture is showing off Alex's bed head. He may be getting a hair cut tomorrow.

Alex practicing Yoga on Daddy

Mike bought me a full length mirror for our anniversary this past year, and the boys love it.  We said it was hung a bit low for us, but it's great of the boys so we kept it.

Evan does not like hats!!

I thought this was a cute picture of Evan just watching Alex play in the snow.

So Alex would drive his lawn mower around and make tracks for us to follow with the sled.  The whole front yard was filled with tracks.  Evan liked sledding in the bumbo and sled.  When ever I would stop he would start to cry.

Evan finally found the Tupperware pantry, and oh the fun he's been having.

My friend Julie came to visit with us and the boys had a blast.  She has a little girl Charlie, pictured here, who is a few months younger than Alex, and a little boy Riley that is just a few months younger than Evan.  So I have a feeling we will have lots of fun with these guys for years to come.

Alex ready for swim class.

Smile!

Alex enjoying some time with this best bud Amelia from MOPS.

Bath time

Evan getting his first taste of sucker, and oh man did he like it.  He kept screaming at Alex to come back and give him another lick.

We finally got Evan to start using the walker and man you couldn't wipe that happy face off of him.  I think walking might be just around the corner for this kid.

Evan has started to like swinging, and Alex still enjoys it as well.

We are the kings of the world!

The boys and I went to visit the Gascho family and had a blast.  Both of them really enjoyed having someone to play with and the new toys to get out.

We have started working on getting Evan to use his own cup.  Evan LOVES it, and does not want to give up the cup once it is empty.

Evan still hating hats.

The boys ready for church.

Alex sang at church this week with the preschool and Sunday school. He didn't sing much, but he sure was cute!
