The garden is coming along this year. Here are my herbs and a few flowers outside my fortress garden.
The entrance to my garden. Cucumbers, tomatoes, beets, carrots, onions, strawberries, peppers, garlic are doing well.

Eliza loves her strawberries. The small ones are wild and the bigger ones are from the garden bed.
While the kids doing their German homework (we were learning colors this week) a hummingbird was feeding on the lavender outside the window.
Mike took the day off so he could go to pizza lunch buffet with us. It was delicious.
I got a flower press for Christmas so I decided to pick a few flowers from the yard and garden and see what comes out.
We visited with my friend Emily and her mom and daughter this week.
The kids had a blast playing with Lila while I chatted with my friend and her mom.
Evan decided to share some of his geodes with his siblings.
They had fun smashing them to bits.
So pretty.
Rosie cat is getting so big.
We visited with my mom for the 4th. Alex and her are neck in neck in height. Mom won by a bun.
Eliza tried on some of her great grandma's earrings.
We watched some Deal or No Deal to keep cool inside.
We also lit off a few fireworks that mom gave us. Both the boys were enjoying lighting them.
When we got home the whole neighborhood was out playing with sparklers, so we joined in the fun.
The kids had a great 4th of July.
This is a toad Mike saw in the darkness while walking home from our neighbors.
I've been getting some really bad mosquitos bites that just itch so bad. So I got two things to try and help. One is a suction device (I'm not sure it does anything), and this one that heats up to burn the itchiness out. Alex was the first to try it, then everyone else but Eliza followed suit. I think it works. The anti-itch creams just aren't working for my anymore.
