We are about 3 weeks out from meeting our newest family member. The boys are getting excited and we are getting ready. The nursery has baby clothes back in it, and we are starting to pack our hospital bag. Here are some pictures from the last month for your enjoyment.
The boys weren't feeling well so we put on a movie and popped some popcorn. Nothing makes them happier.
We finally went car shopping for our "new" minivan. When we went back to buy we had the boys with us, and they had to try out all the cars at the dealer. We were there for 3 hours, so at least they had something to do.
Evan has started walking down the stairs instead of crawling/sliding down them.
My profile at about 8 month or so. Baby and belly are coming along fine.
Evan taking a load off at dinner. Figure we need to start getting him used to a booster seat vs a high chair.
Evan trying to eat cereal with milk. It's a messy business.
I got some flowers from MOPS to plant and grow and Alex helped me plant them. So here they are showing off his hard work with our first flower. Evan has his cheese face going.
For a short while Alex was taking to biting, and Evan got the brunt of his teeth. Thankfully he hasn't been keeping that up.
Uncle Geoff came to visit with us one morning. The boys love playing with him. Really they wouldn't leave him alone.
So I can't really reach my feet anymore thanks to the baby belly... so I went and got myself a pedicure. It felt good and my feet are not worse than sandpaper. Oh and the boys love my pearl colored nails.
Here's a picture of all my babies. All 3. :)
Alex visited the dentist for the 2nd time, he was less than excited. He started crying because she was trying to position him on the chair. It was a rough appointment, but we got through it and his teeth are looking good.
How can kids sleep like this?
Alex attempted a second blinding of Evan. He threw a car at Evan and thankfully missed his eye.
Alex doesn't seem to upset with what he did to Evan.
The boys enjoying some time in the top bunk bed.
Alex had his annual check up on the birthmark on his back. We had to wait almost an hour in the waiting room, so I was pretty irritated by the time we got in the room, but the boys didn't seem to mind. They just love tearing up the paper on the doctor tables.
Alex was giving daddy a check up and Evan decided to try on the glasses. He looks pretty cute I have to admit.
The boys enjoying some time on Mommy's and Daddy's bed. They love to flop, roll, plop, and jump....it's hard to keep a made bed in this house.
The view from my rear view mirror in the van. It's fun to see both the boys in it.
Alex and Evan enjoying some time with Alex's camera. It's amazing how many pictures they can take in an hour, and how quick they can use up fully charged batteries.
I'm sorry to say this, but that picture of Alex at the dentist is the most hilarious. Poor little guy! I know it's scary :( But still ...
