The boys would join me on my visit to the Chiropractor, and I thought this was just too cute of a picture not to share.
Last belly shot before baby. Evan wasn't pleased.
Evan on his birthday turning 2.
What is breakfast without a lesson in colors. We also discussed the planets and where they are in relation to the sun. Very deep breakfast conversation.
This is Evan's constant look lately. He is just a pout or scowl man. Meal times with him are less than awesome.
Alex looking cute in his train hat that Nana gave him.
And also in the pilot hat Evan got.
Everyone needs to be a little goofy sometimes.
And presenting..... Elizabeth (Eliza) Rosemary Baker. Got to the hospital at 3am, I was ready to push by 6:07, and she was out by 6:14am. 7lb 14oz, 21.5 inches long. Lots of hair. I cried when they told me she was a girl. I still can't believe it at times.
Her little baby fingers
Our view of the snow storm that we were thankful we didn't have to drive in at all.
Eliza is much like my other children that our blood didn't do well together so she had to be under the blue lights for a few days. We got to stay a total of 4 days because they were concerned about her bilirubin levels.
I love this picture. She's getting her hearing tested and passed with no issues.
Mom Baker came to visit while we were at the hospital. First family member to hold Eliza other than Mike and I.
Eliza was smiling because she was so happy to be finally going home and meet her brothers.
We didn't get home from the hospital until just after 8pm, but the boys were still awake so they got to come down and meet Eliza. They were so happy to see us and meet her.
My mom was kind enough to take care of the boys while we were in the hospital. The boys and her had a great time together. I was also thankful she stayed another day with me to help get us through another day with the boys.
The Baker Babies all in one bed
Evan loves his little sister
Our first meal all together.
Eliza ready to go to a baby shower. First trip out of the house and all in pink.
Look how small she is. I can totally see how she fit in the belly. :)
The boys got one more day of snow to play in. They also built their first snowman and snow fort and had a snowball fight with daddy. What a great morning it was. The snow was so wet it was perfect, and by afternoon it was gone.
Might have a dancer on our hands.
Eliza visiting with Nana and Aunt Jamie
Chef Evan, quite handsome if I do say so myself.
"Can you try this daddy? Does it need salt?" - Evan
Riding in style to preschool, awe yea.
Alex getting some baby holding time.
Bath time pictures are still so much fun.
You can't not laugh while looking at this picture.
Alex has been shifted around in the last few weeks with his kindle. We just aren't sure where to put him that he won't wake anyone up at 6:30.
Grandma and Grandpa came over the day before the boys birthday party to see them. They got books read to them and had a great trip to the park with Grandpa. Over all a very fun day for them.
First outing with all the kids. Yippy!
This is our 'new' van in all it's glory. It's dark blue with pin stripes.
Our first outing is too..... a restaurant. We did it and it wasn't that bad with 3 kids. :)
The boys had a successful birthday party. They had a great time seeing everyone and opening gifts.
Here is their cake. Evan had two pieces, Alex ate half of his.
Evan got a doggy for his birthday, so now he's got two animal he drags all over the house hugging.
Daddy needed to get some cleaning done, so he strapped on the carrier. I came home from Meijer to this. With the dangling feet it was too cute not to capture.
Alex got a building set from Grandma Jamie and Grandpa Bart. I attempted to build some vehicles... the boys seemed to enjoy them.
The boys showing off their hair products.
The boys helping Daddy change his light bulb.
Ready for our first time back to church. Don't they all look great!
First day without Daddy. We are excited!!
Excited!!
Bright Eyed and bushy tailed.
So I was having such a great day. I had a load of laundry done, did grocery shopping with all three kids, and got everyone fed, and I open the laundry room door to the floor covered in water. Cleaned the water up and opened up the washer to switch laundry, and one of Alex's night time diapers made it in and exploded. Note all the snow looking stuff in the washer. I said a few choice words and texted Mike. He told me to go take naps and he'd take care of it when he got home. I love my husband.
She has a very active tongue.
Grandpa and Grandma are helping me on swim class days with the kids now, which I am so grateful. So afterward we went to Big Boy with the kids. I thought it was a cute picture.
That's all from us for now. Have a great month!
I can't even say which are my favorites this time, they're all so cute. But Eliza Rosemary ... <3, witu her scrawny little legs!
