Here today gone tomorrow

What's the first thing you do when you come home from England and it's 90? Head to the pool, and so we did.

Eliza got quite cold so she got out and warmed up with Grandma and Grandpa.

Nothing like swimming to work up an appetite.

Alex is still a master builder. Uncle Geoff was very impressed.

We were lucky enough to have the Wade family visit a few times while they were here this month.

We took a few kid pictures while the Wades where here. So Shawn, my sister is 10 years older than me. Clayton is 10 years older than Alex. James is 10 years older than Evan. And Clara is 10 years older than Eliza. Maggie is holding out for her 10 year younger twin. :)

Another kid photo at Red Robin. (Taken By Mike)

Love sleeping babies.

When I'm trying to get Eliza off the top bunk for bed, she gets the farthest corner away from me. Sneaky baby, and she's so proud too.

The boys got a large influx of Chuggington trains from a friend. They were making good use of ALL of them.(Taken By Mike)

Ready for VBS, the theme was Surf and Sun.

An animal got into my garden one night and ate all my beet tops and all my greenbean plants, so we made improvements by putting a metal fence around.

Dr. Eliza

Eliza and Daddy after the VBS graduation.

We all took a walk on a super muggy day. Alex was kind enough to pull Eliza the whole time.

We went to a play place with our friend Rasida one day. (Taken By Mike)

The kids loved it! (Taken By Mike)
And I got to have some catch up time with an old friend. (Taken By Mike)

Dinner was interesting with all the straw blowing and tiny table, but still a nice time was had by all.

One of Mike's pictures he took in of the Detroit sky line of the fireworks. (Taken By Mike)

I took this picture at the park with the kids. I just thought they look so cute, other than Eliza being kind of crunched.

Eliza trying to fill Daddy's very big shoes.

I can't get one min to myself with these kids. *sigh*

We took a trip to Greenfield Village with my cousin Jessica and her son Ed. Eliza is 2 weeks older than Ed.

Everyone enjoyed the train and the Merry-go-Round.

Jessica enjoyed visiting the village again. She said she hadn't been there since she was a kid.

Evan has shown an interest in vacuuming lately. Might as well take advantage.

The boys are also interested in pushing the cart at Meijer. Only issue is Evan can't see where he's pushing because he's too short, and Eliza likes to kick him while he's pushing.

Water table has made it out of the basement.

And we bought ladder ball, which the kids enjoy. It's been too hot to be wearing clothing lately, so the kids just enjoyed the water table and new game in their underwear. (Taken By Mike)

Everyone needs snuggles with Daddy.

We visited a water park for the first time. The kids had a blast, and we went in the evening so it was mostly shaded which was awesome. The water was pee warm though because it's been so hot.

Eliza fell a few times and took in water, so she wanted to be carried a lot at the end. (Taken By Mike)

Chef Alex helping mommy with the waffles. (Taken By Mike)

I've been letting Eliza feed herself yogurt lately so she can get used to using utensils... it's been messy to say the least.

Alex and Evan thought it would be a good idea to put on their Halloween costumes and go play outside one morning. They where dripping sweat by the time they came inside 15 min later. (Taken By Mike)
Alex still thinks he fits in a baby seat. (Taken By Mike)

Eliza my daughter, she is cat like at times.

She loves boxes of any kind. Has to crawl in and out of them many times.

Alex playing with some clothes I was going through. (Taken By Mike)

Eliza enjoying her first ear of corn at Aunt Jamie's house for 4th of July. (Taken By Mike)

Uncle Dave put out a slip and slide for the boys to play on. (Taken By Mike)

And a pirate ship water pool for the boys. What a great uncle the boys have. (Taken By Mike)

Alex and Davey then played a game of candy land after all the outside fun. (Taken By Mike)

We did a bit of shopping at Joeann's for fabric for some things I'm making and Evan found about 20 Chases. He wanted them all. (Taken By Mike)

There is a Elizabeth sign over the girls on the shelf. Shawn's friend Elizabeth in England gave Eliza this sign. It was bought in Scotland and imported to England where it sat on Elizabeth's shelf while she was a girl. Now she's passed it on to our Elizabeth. :)

The kids can't wait for Red Robin.

Eliza and Clara at my cousins Heidi's baby shower.

Dad and Jodi invited us over to the farm and lake house while the Wade's were here. This is the swing I swung many a day on when I was a kid.

At the lake house all of my crew took a nap. Evan found a very well used teddy bear to sleep with.

Mike was all ready for taking pictures.

James paddled Evan and Alex all around. (Taken By Mike)

The kids really enjoyed the time at the lake. (Taken By Mike)

Alex loved jumping off the dock. (Taken By Mike)

While Evan and Clara just enjoyed searching for minnows. (Taken By Mike)

Baby butt!!

The boys both got new sun glasses. Alex got frozen, which I think will be passed on to Eliza some day. And Evan got some pretty cool rainbow glasses, that make him look like he's from the 80's.

A fun picture of the boys in a tree at the park.

Clara and Maggie are always wearing stripes, Eliza decided to join in the fun.

More sprinkler fun!

The boys have taken to hanging upside down while swing. :)

We made lemonade icy pops. The kids, and I, LOVED them! (Taken By Mike)

The girls helping Eliza down the slide.

The boys got a special treat and had Aunt Shawn read to them before bed one night. (Taken By Mike)

Maggie and Clara stayed the night one night. Maggie played games with the boys while she was here.

And got some one on one time with Eliza.

While Clara and Mike headed to the zoo to take pictures. (Taken By Mike)

Everyone had a good time. (Taken By Mike)

All good things must come to an end. The Wade's headed back to England, so we got our bye bye Wade photo shoot in.

Evan wasn't listening at the store this week, so he got to ride in the cart. He wasn't very happy about it.

Eliza enjoying the cozy coop.

We went to the splash pad for the first time yesterday. The kids really enjoyed it other than the ice cold water.

My beautiful baby girl.

Eliza trying out her new shades from Aunt Shawn. Maggie used to wear them. :)

Keeping Busy is our middle name

We joined some friends for bowling, turns out the boys really enjoy it. Evan is already perfecting his form. Eliza tries really hard to get ...
