Evan wanted to be sparkly on our morning walk this month.
Alex just looking handsome on our walk
Eliza giving me a thumbs up.
This girl cracks me up. She's so darn cute sometimes.
Eliza and I had a lovely tea party one morning.
The kids after another morning walk.
I found some wood fence in someones trash this month. One mans trash another mans treasure. It fit perfectly around my flower garden addition.
Flower garden starting to fill out.
Bath time at the Bakers. I highly recommend Squigs as a bath toy. (suction cup toys)
Morning walk in the rain, don't mind if I do!
My mom gave me this little gnome house with little animals. Eliza decided to set them up for me.
She did a rather good job.
First time out of the house for the kids. Daddy took them to Best Buy to pick up something for the house and they went along for the ride. First time they got to wear their masks as well.
Alex is getting his first tooth. Sadly it is coming in behind another tooth so it's not shoving the first one out of the way. Might need to get it pulled. :( He is pretty happy about being like a shark in having rows of teeth.
The kids playing ring around the rosy. It seems to be popular with them.
Eliza is ready for a bike ride.
I told the boys you can't be around plants and not smile. I think I proved my theory.
Eliza enjoying the new Trolls movie while finishing her dinner.
Mike decided he wanted a new TV for the house. So we got one and the kids could fit in the box.
I borrowed Alex's umbrella on our walk one morning. It looks a bit small on me.
Alex fell off his bike one day while I was out grocery shopping. It wasn't too bad, but he did skin quite a bit of his knee.
Alex got to hold Clara's bunny while we were visiting.
Eliza got to hold Maggies bunny.
We also got to play a few games while we were visiting with the Wade's.
On one of our walks in the morning we took a new route and found a path through the woods. The kids decided to explore a bit.
My happy little crew
Eliza is really getting into bird watching. She dragged Daddy out with her to look at the birds with her.
Daddy reading to her about one of the birds.
All the kids kitties lined up.
We had a zoom meeting with the Carter family and Mom Baker which was nice.
I was working on a new mask pattern and Mike was kind enough to try it on for me. It reminds me of a duck bill.
Eliza enjoying her Nutela bread, still a messy eater.
Evan helping me make cupcakes for Grandpa's birthday
Eliza and Evan sharing some of the batter
We had a great time celebrating Grandpas birthday with the Wade family this month.
The kids got some new chairs from Grandma and Grandpa for their birthdays.
We've been building forts/castles out of the kids beds.
Even Eliza gets in on the fun.
Here I am doing our bible study during dinner. We finished this one so I need to find another one to start.
The kids telling the next door neighbor that they will be out after they finish their math.
Eliza thinking about something after baths.
The kids enjoying their walk, everyone has to have their sticks with them.
The kids hard at work for the last week of school
The kids got to have a silly string fight one day. They loved it!
I took Evan and Eliza for their well visits this month. I asked them to wear their gardening gloves because they touch everything. So while in the elevator I asked them to show me their gloves this was the outcome. Later I realized what Evan's shirt said and it went perfectly with the picture.
They did really well at their check up and they are healthy little buggers.
I've been having issues getting to bed the last few months so I decided to try another tactic. I'm revisiting chemistry and it's working great to put me to sleep. :)
We watched the SpaceX rocket launch.
Eliza has been having issues with her allergies, as have I, her eyes have been itchy and swollen. Poor girl. She's also been getting bloody noses because I think her nose itches more. She looks like she's been in a brawl.
The boys decided to take their cats out for a ride on the bikes one day.
Alex got new sheets and blanket this month. He loves them!
Eliza helping me water the garden.
We took a trip to visit Oma this month. She was putting in her garden and we helped her dig and put the plants in the ground.
After helping her plant we had a picnic.
We celebrated Jamie's birthday with a zoom call with her and Mom Baker. Always good to see everyone, even if it's over the web.
Eliza trying on Daddy's glasses.
My garden is in and doing well.
This is one of the stops on our walk. The kids pretend they have a fire in the middle and they roast their food on their sticks before we head out again.
Evan's teachers/school was kind enough to come by and celebrate him graduation from Pre-school. They brought him a gift and a sign for our yard, and sprayed him with silly string.
Eliza woke up one day and one of her eyes was half swollen shut and it was all red.
So back to the doctor we went. Turns out she's got allergies just like Mommy does.
So now she's on Zertec and eye drops until she doesn't need them anymore.
The many faces of Evan, this is "I don't like dinner! Why do I have to eat it?"
We had a visit from the Rowe family this month. It was nice to see them after so long.
The kids are getting to big for the kiddy pool.
We also got the sprinkler out for them.
One evening after dinner we decided to do a puzzle before bed.
And we finished right at bedtime! Good work little people!
We visited the Wade family again and the kids went for a swim. The girls kept getting tangles in their hair so Shawn has started to braid their hair to help.
Evan looks like a goof
Everyone staying cool this summer.
I took this picture of the Wades as we were leaving. What a lovely family.
Oma gave this to us so we could set it up in the back yard and enjoy some shade.
We set it up in the front yard and had lunch under it and it was great!
Eliza was telling her her towel was her long hair, so I got out the wig my Grandma Manny gave me when I was a girl and tried it on her.
Then Evan
Then myself. :)
The kids enjoyed eating outside so much they asked to do it again the next day.
My goofy Alex.
We went to a drive through graduation for Evan one day. He got to stand on the podium.
Eliza got to say goodbye to her teachers too, at least until the fall.
Congrats Evan! Kindergarten here you come!
Making dill pickle salad for the Wade Visit.
Mom and Shawn enjoying some time outside.
I look so pale compared to my mom
Evan looked so much like a frog I had to take a picture.
The kids finally got to play with playdough. I don't let them very often but today it was so nasty muggy out I figured why not!
Alex mad a hotdog out of playdough for me. The kids fed me so many wonderful creative things today. It's a wonder I was hungry for lunch. :)
