Nothing like a picnic at Oma's house looking the clouds and saying what they look like.
Oma gave us a few new games. Here is Evan playing Tiddly Winks.
She also gave us Bug Bingo where we can learn about about different bugs. :)
Sprinkler fun in their underwear. :)
Our neighbor Marsha gave Eliza a bunch of bead necklaces. She's always giving the kids little gifts she finds around her house.
The Thinker.
The kids all had dentist appointments this month. Eliza had her first dentist appointment and did great! No cavities! :) :)
We headed to Grandma Jodi's lake house for a day this month. The boys learned how to cast a fishing rod.
Eliza enjoyed cooling down with Grandma.
The kids Kayaked with Grandma.
We all had a nice day with them.
Too cool for school.
Eliza wanted pigtails one day. She wanted braided ones, she didn't understand you need longer hair for that.
We tried a train puzzle one night after dinner. We completed it before bed.The boys are getting really good at puzzles.
One day they won't need stools to brush their teeth.
Padded sword fight with the neighbor kid.
Got to love Popsicle on a hot day.
We went to visit Uncle Geoff in Royal Oak. We visited a few parks.
Uncle Geoff was kind enough to offer piggy back rides and rides on his shoulders to the kids. Eliza wore flip flops for some reason and I didn't notice, so she needed lots of rides.
Uncle Geoff treated us to ice cream, which was super nice, but super melty!! I'm glad I brought water to wash all the kids off after.
Yum! Waffles!
First day of virtual school for the boys. Eliza starts back in Oct. at preschool.
They are getting so big.
While the boys are schooling, Eliza has been enjoying painting.
Alex lost the first tooth of the kids. So gross! He got a silver dollar from the Tooth fairy and a nice note.
First we started the boys at the same table for school. But Evan doesn't understand you don't need to yell at the computer to be able to be heard.
Evan has been doing ok at school. He doesn't not sitting that long in front of a computer. His teacher has started giving him more breaks, which I think is helping.
Alex first started at this table, but he complained to Mike that it was too small to do anything at other than work on the computer.
So we upgraded him to a 4 foot table so he has room to spread out and do his writing assignments.
Morning walks are back!! :) :)
We had the Rowe family over this month and we all got special treats for dessert.
Alex is able to ride his bike with one hand now.
Evan and Eliza have really been enjoying the Power Wheel this month.
Evan had an assignment to make his name out of something in hte house. He decided to make it out of building blocks.
We finally got a trip in to Greenfield Village. We rode on the train.
Rode on the carousel twice.
Eliza has been very interested in helping me in the kitchen this month. She's always asking what she can do.
She's also been very helpful in the garden. Here she is testing the soil dampness.
Looks good
We made a few trips to see Oma and her 12 kittens. Eliza always gets to pick flowers when she visits and picks the vase to put them in.
There was a house in our neighborhood that had a bunch of books out for the garbage.... we couldn't say no. So we took about half of them, and the T square.
More padded sword fights before church.
We finally made it back to church for the first the first time since March. It was outside and nice to be there, but man it's hard to sing in masks.
Eliza moved up from a crib to a queen sized bed that makes her look tiny.
Crazy hair in the bath
Evan styled Alex
Some videos that are being shared are pretty fun for all.
Eliza will be falling out of bed a few times we think. Hence the pillow on the floor.
Yesterday we went bike shopping for Evan. Eliza found one that she liked so we upgraded her as well.
They are been taking bike rides 3 times a day with friends in the neighborhood. It's been great!!
