Snow and Birthdays

Showing some love to the teeth and to each other.

Alex is ready to combat the cold.

Eliza's mask goes really well with her dress.

My lovely girl.

We got plenty of snow this month, but it didn't last long.

The kids made the most of it, that is for sure.

Eliza was tunneling in our yard and the neighbors. She was a little mole.

My snow crew.

The kids trying out the new hard bottomed sled we got them.

So with all the snow, and the cold temps we got some pretty good ice dams on the roof. Which in turn tuned into some pretty good leaks in our kitchen. But as soon as they were gone, we were good to go. Just need to do some patching for where we cut into the ceiling to drain the water.

Evan getting some air at the Wades house.

Alex getting some air off the jump daddy made.

The last run of the night before heading to see Grandma and Grandpa.

After sledding we were welcomed with warm hugs and a game of War.

Eliza is enjoying watching the plants grow. They are getting pretty good at picking out plants that are sprouting.

The boys singing along to the Alphafriend of the day in Evan's class.

We grew crystals this month. The kids thought it was really cool.

Eliza in pigtails doing her homework.

I'm not sure why my kids collect ice on our walks in the morning, but they do.

One day we took some paper airplanes on our walk in the morning. None came home with a nose that wasn't smashed.

Eliza stealing my tea in the morning.

I got my dad vaccinated, and we got Mike's mom and uncle and my mom and step dad all vaccinated in the last month! :)

My grow station. My peppers just started poking up their heads today, and yesterday I planted tomatoes.

Hungry Hungry hippos!

This happens more than I'd like. The neighbor Mila stops by at dinner and stays and watches us eat... she usually brings her 20 year old brother along to watch as well.

Evan's art work from school.

Evan ordered my olive oil pizza with pickles for his birthday dinner.

And we had cookies and cream cupcakes for his birthday cake.

Brotherly hugs on our walk this last week. Eliza fell walking on the drive way and skinned her knee so we went without her, she stayed with Daddy.

Eliza turned 4 this month.

We were blessed with a visit from Mike's sister, everyone kept their distance. The kids were thrilled to see them.

Eliza ordered unicorn mac and cheese for her birthday dinner.

Mike couldn't help himself in trying out Eliza's new fuzzy unicorn blanket from Aunt Jamie.

Our big 4 year old.

She was figuring out if she liked my yellow cupcakes that I made a strawberry butter cream frosting for her.

We got her unicorn hair for her birthday.

Alex had to try the hair on....

As well as Evan.

Uncle Geoff came for breakfast this month and stayed to play games with the kids and chat with us.

Giving perfection a try.

Nana gave the kids lights for their bikes so people can see them at night. What a great idea!!!
